EI TOWERS and its commitment to the safety of all: UNI ISO 45001:2018 Certification

EI TOWERS, a leading company in Italy in the management of infrastructures for TV, Radio, Tlc and Internet of Things (IoT), has obtained UNI ISO 45001:2018 Standard – Management Systems for Occupational Health and Safety certification.

Consistent with the principles and values expressed in the Code of Business Conduct, EI TOWERS recognizes the importance of the issues of safety and health of workers in the place of work and is committed, therefore, to pursue the continuous improvement of business performance in the field of prevention and protection in the workplace.

In order to pursue these objectives, EI TOWERS strongly desired and obtained the certification of the system for the health and safety of workers according to the UNI ISO 45001:2018, the first international standard for occupational health and safety introduced by the International Organization for Standardization. The certificate was issued by TÜV Rheinland, a leading international certification body.

The certification represents a particularly significant achievement for EI TOWERS. The spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus pandemic has kept company management busy working to combine the health of its employees while continuing to ensure continuity of services to its customers.

Through the implementation of the UNI ISO 45001:2018 standard, EI TOWERS is committed to:

  • Prevent and reduce risks to the health and safety of workers and, in particular:
    • ensure that work environments are suitable, safe and ergonomic for the performance of work activities, ensuring periodic monitoring of physical, chemical and biological parameters;
    • protect the health of workers through continuous monitoring and through initiatives aimed at promoting health in general.
  • Activate effective measures to prevent accidents, injuries and occupational diseases, ensuring constant attention to aspects related to safety and health in the management of workplaces.
  • Promote and disseminate a culture of safety and, in particular:
    • Train, inform and raise the awareness of all workers so that they are placed in the best conditions to safely perform their assigned tasks.
    • Communicate health and safety performance in a transparent manner.
