Marco Mangiagalli

Marco Mangiagalli was born in Milan on 8 March 1949. He graduated in Political Economy at the “Luigi Bocconi” University in Milan in 1973. He spent most of his career working for the ENI Group and also worked for Barclays Group in Italy and Nuovo Banco Ambrosiano Group. At ENI, he occupied positions of increasing responsibility, becoming Executive Officer for Finance and then Chief Financial Officer from 1993 to 2008. From 2008 to May 2011, he was Chairman of Saipem S.p.A and from 2011 to 2013 a member of the Board of Directors of Autogrill S.p.A. He was a member of the Board of Directors and the Audit and Risk Committee of Luxottica Group S.p.A. for the years 2009-2011 and 2012-2014. He was a member of the Senior Advisory Board of Global Infrastructure Partners from 2011 to 2017. From 2010 to 2016, he was a member of the Board of Directors and President of the Management Control Committee of Intesa San Paolo S.p.A. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of FinecoBank S.p.A. and a member of the Board of Directors of Finarvedi S.p.A.

He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of EI Tower S.p.A. since April 2019.
