Effective from the beginning of the year, DMT S.p.A. absorbed EI Towers S.p.A., adopting the latter’s corporate name. From that point on, the personnel and assets of the two companies merged into a single entity managing a portfolio of approximately 2,700 sites—of which around 2,300 were owned or otherwise under its control—and developing a “full-service” business model that integrated the traditional services of a Tower Operator with additional high-tech, value-added services. The following section outlines the historical evolution of DMT S.p.A. and Elettronica Industriale S.p.A., focusing specifically on the operations that were subsequently spun off into EI Towers.
