Marco Mezzetti
Marco Mezzetti was born in Castel Maggiore (Bologna) on 3 April 1953. He graduated in electronic engineering (specializing in telecommunications) at Bologna University. From 1980 to 1984 he was a consultant at CITAM (“Guglielmo Marconi” Interfaculty Centre for Didactic-Educational Technologies at the University of Bologna), from 1980 to 1982 he was the Director of Videoemiliaromagna (Bologna) and from 1982 to 1984 he headed Mondadori’s TV networks in the “Retequattro” syndication (Milan). He has spent most of his career at Elettronica Industriale S.p.A. (Gruppo Mediaset), where he has been Head of Institutional Relations since 1985. From 1992 to 1998, he also managed the company’s Rome office. He has been a Board Director at Elettronica Industriale S.p.A. since 2012 and a Vice-President of the company since 2017. He has been a Board Director at BNE (Broadcast Network Europe) in Brussels since 2017.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of EI Towers S.p.A. since 2018.
